At CZR Sport Development we focus on Strength and conditioning, Skill development & Game simulation.
Our Skill development program has a strong focus on being proficient on both sides of the body, executing efficiently is crucial to how we transition the footy from the defensive half to the attacking half of the ground. We achieve this by focusing on fundamental skill work, decision making, then executing in competitive training sessions. We incorporate both closed and open drills into the program. Each targeted skill session will consist of 9 drills on 7 minute rotations. This allows us to cover off on the main skill enhancement areas.

During the strength & conditioning program we focus on the components of fitness. These being speed, power, strength, agility, flexibility and cardiovascular endurance. We achieve this by performing HIIT and circuit sessions, which combine several different movements whilst working against a resistance. We also incorporate running blocks to target specific running patterns and varied efforts performed on game day.
The final day of the program will see all aspiring footballers execute their skills in game simulation. We have a strong focus on protecting the footy, by maintaining possession, looking to hit the short inside 45 kicks & lateral lane changing. At times they will be instructed to play tempo footy and other times they will need to put speed on the ball. We will also focus on running and ball movement patterns. They will execute in small sided games and then come together at the end for full oval match simulation.
